We often can't help but be awed when our attention is called to the real ages of many celebrities. At such times, we may even go ahead to do a bit of research to confirm whether the claims are true. It is no secret that popular figures often maintain expensive beauty and anti-aging regimen. But this is not always the case. Some of the things these popular figures do are within your reach, regardless of your income level. You don't believe us? Check out the anti-aging "secrets" of some of these celebrities who don't seem to age.

Jennifer Lopez

Popularly known as J. Lo, singer Jennifer Lopez is almost 48 years old! Yet, she looks somewhat like someone that could pass for a lady still in her twenties. Every time she is on the red carpet many people can't help but catch a glimpse, especially with some flesh on show. How does she manage to look so good? J. Lo says her youthfulness is the result of healthy diet, exercise and right skin products.

She eats protein-rich foods, fruits and vegetable and drinks plenty of water. Coffee, cigarettes and alcohol are among those things the singer avoids. For fitness, she follows the Tracy Anderson Method and also engages in circuit training. She also uses glycolic acid and other regular skincare products such as moisturizers and sunscreen. Lopez sleeps up to 10 hours each night as well.

Halle Berry

Have you seen Halle Berry lately? She still impresses as she did several years ago, at least to a significant extent. Many may find it hard to believe she is already over 50 years! Just like Jennifer Lopez, she maintains a diet rich in proteins, fruits and vegetables while also avoiding sugar. The latter is necessary partly because she has Type 1 diabetes. She goes without anti-aging creams but wears her sunscreen every time. Berry told Marie Claire UK that she also visits the skincare clinic Kinara four times in a year for facials. She relies mainly on cardio, circuit training and hiking to stay in shape.

Jamie Foxx

Born in December 1967, Jamie Foxx doesn't really come across like someone that is already 49 years old. You could take him for someone still in his 30s. Looking at his physique, one can easily tell this is someone that makes extra efforts to stay fit. The actor regularly engages in workout sessions lasting about 45 minutes, as disclosed to Men's Fitness magazine. His workouts include playing basketball and lifting weights. Foxx also makes sure to eat a diet rich in protein and fiber. This includes protein shakes, fish, vegetables and orange juice.

Jennifer Aniston

Another Jennifer and another one that was also born in 1969. About five months older than J. Lo, Jennifer Aniston still looks so good despite her age. She obviously hasn't changed much in looks since her "Friends" days. Some even say she looks better now. Really interesting. So what are her secrets to such a youthful appearance? She maintains a healthy diet featuring whole wheat, eggs and avocado. The actress drinks at least two liters of water daily, starting with lemon water in the morning. She exercises every day and tries to sleep long enough every night. Aniston is not a fan of cosmetic surgeries for fighting aging; she prefers laser and light therapy. Her preferred skincare products are those offering ultraviolet radiation and chlorine protection.

Angelina Jolie

Believe it or not, Ms. Jolie is almost 42 years of age! But she looks younger and fitter than what you'd usually expect a person of that age to be. She reportedly owes her youthful looks to a diet with high amount of ancient grains. But something you'd find a bit weird about her choices is that she also uses caviar to enhance her looks. More precisely, she treats her face to La Prairie's Skin Caviar, according to Elle. So you can ignore that part, unless you can afford about $700 per pop. Almost anybody can easily guess Jolie is a fitness buff. She engages in cardio and kickboxing exercises.

Pharrell Williams

Would you believe this singer is 44 years old if anyone tells you that? Honestly, we are also less likely to believe the "Happy" crooner is that old if we didn't know. You could easily take the American record producer for a young man in his twenties, going by what we see these days. Awed by his looks, some people have even speculated that he's probably a vampire. But how does he maintain that appearance? The singer claimed his secret is simply washing his face with cold water and Cetaphil. Huh? That's all? Well, that's what he said. So you can try it, at least it's almost free.

Sandra Bullock

This popular actress was named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman of 2015 at about 51 years of age. How could someone that old have been deemed most beautiful? It goes to show how appealing she looks at age – nearing 53 years at this time. How did she manage that? Bullock pays close attention to what she eats – she even maintains meal plans. The renowned actress also works out regularly. She engages in bike riding, kickboxing and weight training to stay fit.

Helen Mirren

Dame Helen Mirren is already on the other side of 70. But attention of people, especially paparazzi, is always drawn whenever she steps out in a swimsuit. This is rather unusual for a woman that old, so unusual! One of her main secret to looking younger is effective control of stress. She told The Mirror newspaper years ago that her mother had advised her never to worry about growing old. This goes to underline the harmful effects worries about getting old can have on aging itself. Mirren ensures to get adequate dose of sleep. She said she usually forego partying for restful sleep when under significant stress.

Keanu Reeves

This is yet another celebrity that has vampire rumor hanging around him, even more than someone like Pharrell Williams. There are even online platforms dedicated to comparing him to persons from many years ago who looked similar. It is obviously quite hard for people to believe Keanu Reeves is over 53 years old. He hasn’t really changed much since The Matrix was released. The actor maintains an active lifestyle. He does different types of workout routines, including kung fu, basketball and weight lifting. Usually, his next role determines what workouts to engage in. Veggies, rice and chicken are few of the foods that feature in his diet. Reeves is one of those who eats in small portions to stay in shape.

Lenny Kravitz

American singer and actor Lenny Kravitz is one of several male celebrities that don’t seem to age, at least not as we’d ordinarily expect. This 53-year-old could easily pass for someone in his 30s or, at worst, early 40s. He devotes special attention to staying in shape. According to him, a major secret to looking this good is his jump rope, which he supposedly takes everywhere. Kravitz doesn’t fancy going to gyms. Parts of his efforts to stay fit include running and doing outdoor activities. The singer also eats fresh and organic food. His diet includes fruits and vegetables, such as spinach and beets. He sometimes gets these from a farmer’s market or his own organic farm in the Bahamas.

Jared Leto

At 46 years old, Jared Leto looks like someone you’d consider to be in the 30s or maybe late 20s. He credits this, in part, to his being on a vegan diet for decades. But the actor generally tries to do anything that will enable him to stay healthy. He endeavors to stay away from sugary foods and get sufficient hours of sleep. Leto prefers engaging in outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking and rock climbing, to stay fit. However, he does sit-ups, crunches and yoga as well.

Gwen Stefani

If you haven’t known the 47-year-old Gwen Stefani for some years, you could take her for someone in her 20s or 30s. She doesn’t really look like someone with kids at all when you see her performing. Could she be one of those that have gone under the knife several times in the past? The “Misery” singer does not attribute her looks to such procedures. She said she takes her fitness routines very serious to have that great shape. She doesn’t go for “soft” exercises such as yoga or Pilates. Stefani prefers something like weight lifting or boxing. Her main daily skincare treatments are SPF 50 sunscreen and Johnson’s baby lotion – can you believe that?

You will agree that most of what these celebrities who don’t seem to age do are quite simple. A common current is a healthy diet which features fruits, vegetables, fiber and proteins. Regular exercise is another major “secret” of those mentioned here and many others. Drinking lots of water and washing your face with cold water can do your face and skin some good. So it’s not really about the expensive cosmetic procedures and injections, it is about doing the simple things diligently.
